Geet Oberoi, a masters’ degree in Psychology and Diploma in Special Education holder is quite a common name in the field of special education for the past about 2 decades.
Presently pursuing her doctorate in Effectiveness of Early Intervention (EI) in Learning Disabilities, Geet Oberoi endeavors to make a place for herself amongst people with several disabilities so as to offer them any kind of help.
Geet Oberoi, the Founder President of Orkids Multidisciplinary Clinic established in the year 2000 to provide remedial intervention to children with special needs, has trained herself in special education extensively under the consistent guidance of many international experts of this field. Geet Oberoi is also one of the guest faculties of NIPCCD (Delhi) and Amity University. She also stretched her help as a consultant at Sitaram Bhartia Institute (Delhi) and Max Hospital.
With her sole dedication, Orkids today has 14 Clinics in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Panchkula and Bangalore.
Geet Oberoi actively has conducted a range of workshops and training courses to imparting skills to them about disabilities so that they remain prepared and educated. Other prominent involvements of Geet Oberoi include – developing curriculum for Distance Education Learning Programs in learning disabilities, founding member of Delhi Learning Disabilities Association (DLDA).
She has been conferred with Guruvar Awards for her outstanding contribution as a teacher of Indian children with special needs.
